Halloween DLC takes you through a haunted house

Just in time for Halloween and the release of Meta Quest 3, Mighty Coconut releases the spooky golf course “Widow’s Walkabout”.

VR golfers can prepare themselves for a spooky experience starting on October 19th: Mighty Coconut is releasing “Widow’s Walkabout”, a new DLC for Walkabout Mini Golf. The now 22nd course of the VR game takes you to a spooky haunted house.

Creepy ghosts and Victorian architecture

“Widow’s Walkabout” takes players into a mysterious mansion full of surprises and clues to a secret history. New mechanics, spooky objects and curiosities await in the Victorian mansion.

As usual, the course costs $3.99 and comes with a variety of themed avatar features, comfort settings for creepy and light-sensitive players, and 18 collectible lost balls.

Of course, there’s also a matching putter, which can be won by completing the fox hunt on the more difficult course. The eerie backstory of the course will also be revealed.

New DLC courses for Walkabout Mini Golf have been released regularly since its launch three years ago. One of the most successful games for Meta Quest 2, the VR mini golf game is now available for Playstation VR 2, Steam, Pico 4 and HTC Viveport.

An iOS version of Walkabout Mini Golf: Pocket Edition is also in the works. The studio also recently confirmed that Walkabout Mini Golf: Meow Wolf will be released later this year.

Mighty Coconut also has big plans for next year: the studio plans to release new courses every few weeks. The first will be the third part of the Jules Verne trilogy, based on “Around the World in 80 Days”.
